El entrenador del Elche, Fran Escribá, ha asegurado este domingo justo antes del debut de su equipo en la Liga BBVA, en el partido ante el Rayo Vallecano que se disputará este lunes en Vallecas (20.00 horas), que "dentro del vestuario" la confianza es total, dejando claro que "nadie firma el empate" ante el conjunto madrileño.
"Dentro del vestuario están convencidos de que podemos lograr el objetivo y que mañana podemos ganar el partido. Ninguno firma el empate. Sabemos que esto es Primera División pero la plantilla está capacitada para competir contra cualquier equipo", aseguró Escribá en rueda de prensa.
Con respecto a la forma de jugar que tendrá el Elche este lunes en Vallecas, Escribá comentó que no piensa cambiar el estilo de juego mostrado en la últimas temporadas. "Va a ser la misma forma de jugar que la temporada pasada porque hay una seña de identidad que es el competir y dejarse el alma en cada partido", afirmó.
Por ello, el entrenador del Elche confía en seguir siendo "un bloque unido, solidario y que no se rompa", para que "en definitiva", el equipo "esté preparado para todo tipo de partido", dijo.
"Es el primer partido y todos tenemos muchas ganas pero también sabemos que empieza la competición y que nos espera un partido muy difícil", continuó explicando el entrenador.
Además, Fran Escribá también habló sobre el rival, un Rayo Vallecano "que juega muy bien al fútbol". "Todos los equipos de Paco Jémez hacen un fútbol atractivo. Es un equipo al que le gusta crecer a partir del balón, que tendrá la posesión durante el partido", afirmó.
"Intentaremos quitársela porque a nosotros también nos gusta tener el control de la pelota pero sabemos que va a ser muy complicado. Estaremos atentos a las transiciones para hacerles el mayor daño posible. Confiamos en sacar un buen resultado", explicó Escribá.
Por último, sobre las posibles nuevas incorporaciones, el entrenador franjiverde dice estar "tranquilo" aunque deja claro que "si llegan refuerzos serán bienvenidos". "Con los que tenemos en estos momentos estoy contento. Hemos aumentado el nivel de la plantilla", concluyó.
